Best Spätzle! Location and food are very nice! Also the waiters do their best. Sadly once a woman, who apparently was the boss or the owner, treated us bad when we asked her a question about the menu. That made us hesitant to come back again. They should take care of their service if they want clients to come back.

I went to Sax for breakfast this morning and I’ll be going there every day of my stay in Erlangen now due to the quick and friendly service as well as the extensive breakfast menu. I had a mushroom, ham, cheese and tomato (I asked for the cheese and tomato to be added and it was no problem) omelette, followed by their natural yoghurt with müsli and fruits of the forest. Both the omelette and the yoghurt were delicious! I highly recommend Sax for breakfast, lunch or dinner and I’ll be going back there tomorrow and the day after.

We just wanted a short inside stay. What we found was so comfortable that it could have been much longer. A spacious view into the precinct through the magnificent windows. Then comes the very pleasant waitress and ,in a heartbeat, the orderd food and drink comes served. It was delightfully tasty and the "Happy-Feeling" stayed for a long time. Lob an das Geschäft

I don't speak German at all, and I speak very little English, but the staff made an effort to understand what I was saying. Keller beer and currywurst are delicious. And curry too.

I go there once in a while. It's a nice bar, but the best thing is sitting outside on the Schloßplatz when the weather is nice. Only 4 stars because it almost always takes a really long time to get your drinks or the bill.

Such a great place! We've had here some of the best food in Erlangen and the servers have been very helpful to us, as I don't speak any German. I'm very sad we didn't discover it earlier in our trip.

I have been to this place a few times. I really like the vegetarian Curry that they have (forgotten the menu name). The food is really delicious. The service time is a bit low, but not a major negative. The quality of service is great though.
